M-A ARCHITECTS has been providing a full range of architectural and planning services since 1993. Founder and Principal Architect John Matthews is the driving force behind this innovative firm, producing notable and award-winning commercial and residential architecture that has enhanced the Colorado landscape for more than 17 years.

Our offices, located in the loft of the Littletown Building in downtown Littleton, offer a unique environment for inspired design, as well as for meeting with our clients in a relaxed and warm setting.

Because we are involved in each stage of the design process (from site selection through completion of construction) we create projects that are beautiful, environmentally sensitive and cost efficient. In addition, our project experience has helped us develop a strong team of seasoned design and engineering consultants.

Award-winning architect and founder JOHN MATTHEWS leads a talented staff of architects and CADD draftsmen. Matthews earned his architectural degree from the University of Arizona in 1982 and has a broad range of experience in commercial and residential architecture, including an eight-year tenure as Vice President of Architecture for M.D.C. Holdings in Denver, where he was responsible for national product development for MDC/Richmond American Homes. During this time, and since he began Matthews & Associates P.C. in 1993, he has received numerous national and regional design awards, has served on the housing committee for the American Institute of Architects and has had his architecture featured in publications including Colorado Homes and Lifestyles, Western Architecture and Sources and Design.

BRAD EICKMAN earned a technical architecture degree from Southeast Community College in Nebraska in 1980, and is a licensed Colorado Architect. He is Manager of Production for single family, multi-family and commercial projects for M-A Architects.

JOHN & BRAD have been working together on architectural projects for more than 20 years. Their partnership provides a strong combination of architectural design, project management and technical services.
